Six partners. One responsibility. The entire chain under one roof.
Trähem was founded in 2022 by six people who have already developed around 10,000 homes between them — an architect, structural engineer, building technology specialist, head of production, head of construction and business developer. We own the company, are directly involved in every project and take responsibility from the first sketch to the handed-over housing cooperative.
Property development for the future

Trähem is a property development company focused on the future. We want to leave a positive green legacy and play a part in society’s transition to a more sustainable world.
The company was founded in 2022, but brings together more than 50 years of combined expertise in timber apartment and housing construction — from White Arkitekter, Nyréns, HSB Bostad, Skanska and Lindbäcks Bygg. Over the years, the partners have developed around 10,000 homes and led projects worth billions of SEK.
What distinguishes Trähem is that the whole value chain sits with its six partners. Design, structural engineering, building physics, production, construction and commercial delivery are around the same table — and the people who make commitments in a land allocation are still there when the building is complete.
How we complement one another
Six capabilities covering the whole project
Most housing developers outsource much of what they do. We have it in our partnership — so questions are resolved in the same meeting rather than the next procurement process.
Commercial delivery, land and finance
Land allocations, acquisitions, tenure models, costings and capital. We know what a project can carry before we submit a bid — and we do not submit bids we cannot deliver.
Design and urban development
Having our own architect among the partners means that a municipality’s ambitions for quality, scale and urban life are articulated by someone who is also responsible for delivering them.
Structure and engineering
Timber structure, fire safety and acoustics are verified in-house and early. This leads to leaner frames, fewer surprises in design development and robust technical solutions.
Building physics and technology
Moisture, energy and airtightness determine whether a timber building lasts a hundred years. We review them ourselves — before production, not after an issue is found.
Industrial production
Modules and prefabricated timber frames require the right logistics, installation sequence and weather protection. We have led this type of construction for ten years.
Construction and handover
Procurement, programmes, inspections, aftercare and a housing cooperative that works after the interim board steps down. We do not hand over halfway through.

CEO
Twenty years in property development and construction, responsible for or involved in around 7,000 homes in the Mälardalen region. David leads the commercial side: land allocations, acquisitions, tenure models, costings and finance — coordinating delivery throughout. His network spans municipalities, house factories and contractors, helping projects get under way rather than stall.

Henric Munde
Architect
Architect trained at KTH, specialising in timber housing. Ten years at White Arkitekter, two at Nyréns and five as Chief Architect at Lindbäcks Bygg, where he built the technical platform for industrialised timber construction. He has received several awards in his field. His combination of award-winning design and deep knowledge of what can actually be produced ensures our ideas hold up through planning permission, costing and completion.

Roger Roos
Head of Construction
Civil engineer with twenty years in new-build housing for, among others, Byggnadsfirman Viktor Hanson and HSB Bostad, plus fifteen years in senior roles within the Lindbäck group. Roger leads the client role: procurement, contract model, programme, production, aftercare and handover to a functioning housing cooperative — all the way to the warranty inspection.

Siavash Ehsanzamir
Structural Engineer
Structural engineer specialising in strength and material optimisation, with project leadership and design-calculation responsibility on infrastructure-critical projects such as Arlanda Airport and Norvik Harbour. He teaches timber engineering to colleges, universities and businesses and is currently designing the world’s tallest modular timber building. Our ability to verify structures in-house lets us commit to taller buildings and leaner frames.

Mohammad Nouri
Head of Production
Head of Production and civil engineer with ten years in varied roles at Lindbäcks Bygg and Skanska, on both contractor and client sides. His speciality is leading construction of tall timber-framed apartment buildings: logistics, installation sequence, weather and moisture protection, and on-site quality — precisely where the margins in timber construction are decided.

Sourosh Ehsani
Building Technology Specialist
Building technology specialist with a background as CEO, housing developer, technical adviser and research engineer, with deep expertise in building technology and building physics. He has worked on Uppsala City Hall, Kulturhuset and Stockholm Concert Hall, as well as the Swedish Pavilion at Expo in Dubai, and has helped manufacturers in several countries develop technical platforms for industrialised timber construction. At Trähem, moisture, energy and airtightness are reviewed before they become problems.

You do not get a project manager who has to come back to you. You speak to the people who make the decisions on architecture, technology, production and commercial delivery.
We promise only what we can deliver
Climate requirements, quality level and programme are reviewed by our own structural engineer, building physicist and head of production before they become a commitment.
We contribute to municipal climate targets
Timber frames, the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and climate calculations from the sketch stage. Our projects improve a municipality’s sustainability reporting — not make it harder.

We are small enough to make decisions quickly and experienced enough to understand what those decisions cost in twenty years.
We get involved early
From land allocation and detailed development plan onwards, we influence climate footprint, tenure models and architecture — where the impact is greatest.
We design with you, not just commission
With our own architect and structural engineer among the partners, design and technology become one conversation.
We see the project through
From industrial production through final inspection, warranty inspection and a functioning housing cooperative. We do not hand over halfway through.
